SECOND YEAR FIRST SEMESTER
M 301: Mathematics
Credit: 4
Video lecture available for course M301 is Counting (Probability part).
This lecture covers topic as follows:
Sample spaces, events as subsets, probability axioms, sample
theorems, finite sample spaces and equiprobable measure as
special cases, binomial coefficients and counting techniques
applied to probability problems, conditional probability, independent
events, Bayes’ formula.
Random variables (discrete and continuous), probability functions,
density and distribution functions, special distributions (binomial,
hypergeometric, Poisson, uniform exponential, normal...) mean
and variance, Chebychev inequality, independent random
variables, functions of random variables their distributions.etc.
Note::This lecture not covers statistics .
This video lecture covers almost all topic of data structure and algorithm.
As this course is very important for computer science and IT student so
one must go through all the topic of this syllabus .
All the Best !!
Lecture follows topic like:
Time and Space analysis of Algorithms ,Linear Data Structures,Recursion,
Non-linear Data Structure,Hashing - Hashing Functions,Sorting and Searching
